Annual Membership
Why do you pay a yearly membership fee? A membership fee is your pledge of support to the mission of the school, and a commitment to becoming part of the community. In addition to your dues, your membership fee helps ensure the financial health of Quantum and supports outreach programs. As a member you also have the opportunity to vote on issues that affect the entire community and can serve on the board of directors. It is due once a year on your anniversary date. There are many levels of membership, with varying benefits. As a member at any level, you will have access to unlimited classes, and paying a reduced monthly tuition will help you save money. You will be able to elect board members (or sit on the Board of Directors), and vote on important issues regarding the school.
We rely on the support of members to sustain and grow our general fund and allow us to continue our scholarship and outreach programs. More than 90% of our revenues come from membership dues and tuition payments. Your dollars help students in our children's program to gain self-confidence and discipline from continued training. In the past, your support has also allowed us to offer programs to organizations like Giddens School and the Lake Washington Girl's Middle School.
Also, if you know someone who would like to support what you do, but who doesn't want to take classes themselves, ask them to become a member! Anyone can be a member, and members don't have to be students.
